Mysterious note left at door of Turkey’s CHP office, threatens: ‘You’ll pay for it, traitors!’

Turkey’s main opposition Republican Peoples’ Party (CHP) local branch in Ankara’s Etimesgut district has received a threatening note left at its door: “You will pay for what you have done, you atheist traitors!”

The note was found attached at the door of the CHP’s Etimesgut district office. The party members called the police to report the incident. An investigation was launched into the note, media said on Monday.

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on Tuesday shared an intelligence report showing that Turkey’s autocratic President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was warned about Turkish-Iranian gold trader Reza Zarrab’s relationships with several ministers. Zarrab revealed his tactics and accomplices within the Turkish government in violating US sanctions on Iran in New York federal court.

Kılıçdaroğlu also said during a party meeting in Parliament on Nov. 28 that Erdoğan’s brother-in-law, brother, son, son’s father-in-law and his former executive assistant sent about $15 million to an offshore company called Bellway Limited on the Isle of Man between December 2011 and January 2012.

The symbol of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) which is an ally for Turkish autocratic Islamist President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was drawn at the door of an Alevi family and a red cross was marked on it in Bahçelievler district of İstanbul province las week. “Get out, heathen” and “Islam” was written at the door.

A similar incident happened on 22 November in Malatya province. In Gökalp and Mercan streets of Cemal Gürsel Neighborhood where Alevi citizens lived, doors of 13 houses were marked with red crosses. (SCF with turkeypurge.com)
