Mainly Afghans, refugees waiting in line for bread at a minus 14 degrees celsius. Many migrants did not want to go to refugee camps. January 09, 2017 in Belgrade, Serbia.

A Turkish deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak said on Sunday in a live TV show that three million mostly Afghan refugees are getting ready to enter Turkey illegally.

¨Based on our intelligence, there are three million mostly Afghan refugees in Iran who are moving towards Turkey¨ Kaynak said adding that only in 2016 30 thousand illegal refugees made it to Turkey from eastern provinces of Ağrı and Iğdır.

Reiterating criticism from the government against the readmission deal with the European Union, Kaynak said that the deal is not sustainable under current circumstances. He called on EU to fulfill its requirements.

According to the readmission agreement, Turkey agreed to take back refugees who cross Europe illegally via Turkey in return for financial aid and a prospective visa liberalization for Turkish citizens. (turkishminute.com) March 26, 2017
