Turkey’s Foreign Ministry summoned Swiss counsellor in Ankara on Saturday over outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) sympathizers’ rally targeting Turkey’s autocratic President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Bern.
Erdoğan was targeted in the rally held with a banner that read “Kill Erdogan.” Sympathizers of the PKK, DHKP-C, YPG took part in a rally in front of the Federal Parliament building in Bern. The Swiss police did not intervene against the banner, which had a photo of Erdoğan, a gun pointed to his head. The Swiss Green Party also supported the rally.
The PKK listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the EU.
